The objective of integration of alternative energies in buildings is to design an efficient building that allows the embedding of a system that captures the energy and become a useful alternative source for the building.
The interest that the use of alternative energies raised in recent years is mainly due to the awareness of the scarcity of fossil resources (as oil) and the need to reduce emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere, the GEE (greenhouse gases).
The sources of renewable energy is obtained from the Nature that surrounds us, as the Sun and the wind, that can be converted into electricity or heat.
The use of alternative energy systems can be:
Thermal solar system – the Sun's energy can be converted to sanitary water heating and heating
Photovoltaic solar system – the Sun's energy can be converted into electricity for household use or sale to "network"
Wind mini-turbinas system -the energy of the wind can be converted into electricity
Mini System -the energy of the water of rivers can be converted into electricity
Geothermal energy system – Earth energy can be converted to sanitary water heating and heating
